Chancel Choir
As the most experienced adult choir at UMC Bala, the Chancel Choir sings at all Sunday services through the academic year. Our volunteer singers are supported and encouraged by “core singers” who are professionally trained and experienced musicians. This choir sings a wide variety of works including traditional, spirituals, and contemporary pieces in a repertoire which speaks to individuals of any background. The choir performs a festival of lessons and carols each year and hopes to host a hymn festival in the fall of 2011. Anyone with any level of musical experience is welcome to join the ensemble which rehearses each Thursday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Hawkins Room of the church from September to June.
